Mindsets....and women
We at all times blame people around us for having mindsets that are at best weird and at worst criminal or disgusting yet we never made the effort to understand the root cause of all this. we have to understand what prevails in the society, why its prevailing and what are its resultant consequences.
In society like ours there are varied mindsets which amazingly at times are poles apart. The one that is most affected by the mindsets is the role of women in our society. One group will define it as restricted and confine to the walls of her home where as, the other would define as an important part of the society playing the leadership role, managing work as well as her home and being the best companion to her soul mate.
A religion that prides itself on the respect of women and their innumerable rights, see its followers violating it. There are varied issues and circumstances faced by the women and the most interesting one is faced by the women whose modern, educated and a bread earner. She is trained to be strong and confident, studies with great devotion, works harder than man as she has additional pressure to succeed and prove herself and when she has accomplished all, she is politely reminded now and then that she has boundaries, limitations and restrictions and what she should do and should not. I am not saying this because I am a woman myself. I am saying this cause I know what a woman goes through in this society to gain a small level of success and happiness.
I have nothing against men, infact I am a strong believer that there can not be a better friend for woman than a man. Yet the same man in any other role except of a friend would find ways to control or restrict or atleast politely remind you of your limitations. The question is do the women really look so feather brained that there is a need to remind them??Or are we misusing our independence and freedom??
It still lefts to be answered. But I strongly believe that today's women can handle anything, anything at all that comes her away...give her a challenge and she'll prove her worth. I know men who are playing an important part in the success of the women in their lives (both personal & professional), they are a great example of how a companion should be.
We owe it to them and whoever supports us in our struggle with life and happiness, success and freedom.
So all the women out there I know you have it in you to succeed at everything you do...all that is left is to prove it to the world. Be proud of who you are!!

Madiha has God gifted ability of Creative Writing. She has deep insight into Organization & Human Psycology. Once she starts writing articles its come from her heart. I think she has to write more on Social & Ogranizational Issues so that it gives guideline to youngsters.
