Believe!

Yesterday I watched an animated movie and while watching it I realized that happiness is largely dependent on our believes. If you believe in it and try hard (by that I mean you actually, really, truly have to believe) then and only then you can make it work.I don't know how many of you would agree to it and I am sure many of you would say I am an idealist but the fact is life is pretty much based on these small things and all of them work on believe! The stronger your believe is the easier it would be to get it! All in this world is much dependent on our believes and every believe carries a certain amount of weight which has the energy or the power to attract the things we want and the things we believe in! It's amazing to know that our collective thoughts and believe have even more weight-age than our singular thoughts.Unfortunately  as humans we agree on only few rare things and the others are just labelled with compromises. The important part to consider here is that

Damsels in distress at Work

Talk about being a female and surviving the corporate world. It's not easy! Where opportunities are unlimited and success rate higher for the women; there is still a lot of pain and misery involve! The fact that is most evident is that these damsels are 90% of the time not rescued by a knight in shinning Armour. We are pretty much on our own in the Corporate World and the situation is "take it or leave it" So, the damsels have to learn to be the knight for themselves and protect their self from all that is out there. It's been 5 years that I'm in the corporate world and believe it or not I have seen it all. From obnoxious attitudes to stupid over-the-limit charming behaviors and my the corporate jealousy and flirtation! Most of the time you'll feel as if you are nothing more than a decoration piece. The worst of all is the believe that being woman makes us inferior or if we are gaining success in our careers it is because of the fact we are woman! Why ca

Where is your mood switch?

Image
Anyone with a little observation and understanding of the human nature would know that the moods of the people change not only because of their own self but mostly because of others. That’s interesting....it looks like as if our mood is like a switch placed in the board on the wall and anyone can turn it off or on whenever they pass by. But don’t you feel it’s a little maddening?? You can’t control your reactions?? Have no idea how to save you from the frustration! Come-on why let others control it......if your mood is in the hands of others then I think happy moods won’t last long, isn’t it?? The society we live in, especially the South Asian countries, they have this tendency to poke their noses everywhere and interfere in every one’s business, its natural to them and done without any negative motive behind. It’s the general make and type; however it does leave the other person with negative feelings. You need to keep your switch in your own hands! Don’t let other tur

Failures....a sure way to achieve success

For anybody who reads it, this may sound a very contradictory statement however its true that those who have never seen failure in life can not and have not succeeded at anything at all. What do we understand by the term failure in general is a feeling of disappointment and hopelessness and a confirmation of your worst nightmares. That line of thought is a product of general negative thinking prevailing in society, however history has witnessed many who have seen great successes, which have resulted from positive attitude and great many failures. When we talk about failures we have to remember one thing which is extremely crucial in maintaining a positive outlook on things and gaining success is that failures are only faced by those who are willing to take risks and who are making effort to gain success and achieve targets! If you do not faced any losses or failures then my dear you are doing nothing progressive, new or extraordinary.... Why fear failures? There is no need to fe

Do what you love!

Everyone in this world is working on one thing or another, yet are we all happy to be doing what we are doing? Is it our passion? Are we enjoying ourselves along the way?? After some research and analysis of human behavior I can safely say that 90% of us are not happy doing what we are doing...Donald Trump once said that "passion helps you do better" If you are passionate about something then you will be willing to go that extra mile, take the heat on, work long hours...heck you would even work when you are not suppose to work, and this all comes from with in you. If you don't want to do something yet you have to do it, you will but that would not be done with love and passion. You will do it for the sake of doing it. And that would never be enough! Find something you like or love in everything you do! Be it any profession, you can be a doctor, teacher, engineer etc.....find something you like to do in that field. and for all those young ones who are just starting up

Life as I see it

22nd Sep '12 From the moment a person opens his/her eyes the experiences began to happen which shapes the attitude and the mindset of the person and make him what he is. Is it not amazing that the moment eyes open our lives start shaping up, experiences happen and we become an individual with an specific identity and personality. But what goes wrong then? Why some of us become bad? or Sad? or disappointed or disturbed? Why life turns us into cynics?? Why we feel despair? Life is suppose to be happy, sweet and full of love and care. Why we loose it?? When a kid is born he is like a sponge, absorbing everything that comes his way, the relations, attention, surroundings....everything! Along the way he experiences many things, various emotions that effect his thinking, alters his beliefs and shape his attitude. You know everyone of us has been bestowed with same intellect and feelings, it is just the experiences that mold us. We believe as a kid that we'll d
